Date: April 29, 2009
Venue: CenFRA Ltd, Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Delegate Rate: Places are free of charge and strictly limited.
What Will The Round Table Debate Cover?
Chaired by Mike Wilson, president of the British Automation and Robot Association (BARA), this free morning event will provide an opportunity for a select group of operations directors, factory managers and engineering managers to discuss the benefits and barriers to automating production lines in UK food and drink manufacture.
As well as covering the use of robotics in the more traditional end of line packaging and palletising operations, we will also discuss the potential for applications in upstream food processing applications.
The event will examine the increasing availability of lower priced, more flexible systems, together with information on how to build a business case for investing in automation and the best financing options available in the current economic climate.
There will also be the opportunity to discuss the design of robotic lines and their maintenance once installed.
The morning event will finish with a networking lunch, after which there will be an opportunity to view a range of flexible automation.
